We are Central Care Physical Therapy

by Dr. Christina Abellon, PT, DPT

We help our patients live a full life confidently without pain or limitations. Our humble beginnings started 11 years ago with a simple goal, help people. I knew God gave me a gift and I just want to share it with as many people as I can. Our philosophy is to give value to each person's life. Most often, our patients come in frustrated, uncertain and discouraged feeling limited in their independence. We use our knowledge and skills as therapists to help them realize what they can achieve. The human body is a magnificent creation, we will not give up on it and we will not give up on you.

Our patients are our greatest motivators and our sources of inspiration. As we see our patients grow in strength and confidence, we cheer them on, but we also constantly challenge them to reach their goals. Central Care Physical Therapy is not your cookie cutter outpatient clinic. Central Care Physical Therapy is a teaching facility that is here to help as many people as we can. We are intentional in our actions; we strive to do our best to get things done BUT we cannot fix you. If you are expecting to just lay down and immediately have all the problems gone once you walk out, sadly, we are not the place for you. We do not want to be your temporary fix. It may be good for certain businesses, but it is not good for you. Our goal is to get everyone living their life independently again free from pain.

We guide you with our knowledge of movement and skills as therapists but at the end of the day, it also must come from your own actions and personal accountability that will achieve immediate yet long term success. My team is my extended family. It makes work more enjoyable when you love and respect each person that you work with, everyone excels at what they do and love helping others.

Chino Hills has been our home for the past 15 years and we are blessed to establish the roots of our family here. We are active members of our church St. Paul the Apostle; our daughters are altar servers. Our son is a proud member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 2399 at St. Paul and we are also active committee members of the troop. Ohana Tigers 12u Softball club is based in Chino Hills and is managed by my husband, Chuck Abellon.

We try to make things fun and you can follow our Instagram @centralcarept and Facebook @centralcarept to check our stories, exercises and more. We are here to help you. If you are ready to let go of your crutches and start running, call us. Let's get you back in the game.
